Measuring guide
- Labradoodles vary considerably in size; use individual measurements instead of a single breed-average sweater size.
- Measure with the coat at the length it will be when the garment is worn, and recheck after grooming.
- Check both chest circumference and back length against the same pattern size; adjust only using that pattern’s instructions.
- Measure your Labradoodle while standing comfortably. Measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Measure along the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Keep the tape snug without pulling it tight.
- Use the actual pattern’s gauge, ease and finished measurements. Check that the garment allows comfortable movement.
